Summer Festival

• The Celebrating Sunshine deed will now be available to those players who had previously failed it.

Hall of Mirrors

• Corrected an issue where Ergoth would enter a state where she does not attack you and you cannot attack her.

The Water Wheels: Nala-Dum

• Caerog would occasionally become locked in drama forcing players to map home.
• Caerlug was not resetting if players died while he was healing.

Halls of Crafting

• The gates to the first boss would close after half an hour preventing the instance being completed.The gates should now remain open.

Crafting

• Players may be offered craft mastery quests they have previously completed. This is a display issue, your crafting mastery has not been impacted. Repeating the quest does not grant any additional proficiency.

• Travel Route - Dolven-View to Anazamekhem, the goat gets stuck on a wall in Zelem Melek

We have been made aware of suspicious account requests via in game email and other means. These emails are very convincing and link to a site that has cloned the appearance of the lotro.com website. All players should be aware that this is not a valid site and is in no way associated with Turbine.

Example email:
“Becasuse you suspected of lllegal trade for gold, system will freeze your ID after one hour.If you have any questions, please login (URL) to make a complaint .We will be processing as soon as possible.Thank you for your understanding!”

We are currently investigating reports and will take appropriate actions.

The downloadable updater means you can download our latest content update before it goes live on the Turbine servers, saving you time when they come back up on launch day! It also means you can download the patch on a computer that you don't have LOTRO installed on (i.e. your work computer), transfer the patch to a disk or device, and then run it on the computer with a LOTRO client to update it.

The downloadable updater will download the files needed to update your client to Volume II, Book 8: Scourge of Khazad-dûm. After you've updated your client, when the servers go live with Volume II, Book 8 your client will apply the patch and update itself.

Additional notes:

• This patch will only work for those whose clients are current as of today (June 19).
• New players will need to install the game and patch through the normal patching process before applying this update!
• This file will ONLY patch the North America/AU/NZ version of the LOTRO client. If you try to apply it to the EU version, you'll get an error message.

TDM users do not need to install this update. Your client will automatically patch on launch day. Please DO NOT install this update if you use the Turbine Download Manager.

The full patch is approximately 600MB in total. It's available via the following methods:
