Now a year or more since we have all been together.. where are you now in your gaming?

Well - me, still a lotro player. Once I stop it .. I will be done. 

I have 6 - 65's, 1, 39, 1 36 and 1 29. No, I dont play much at all.

I can be found with Hands of the Crimson Daggers noramally - that is where I came from when I first joined the Blades of Anarion.  One weekends I am probably raiding with Scions of Arda. We recently got the twins down in hard mode... the final big baddy is on our list. Had him down to 110k.

Other than that sitll living life and enjoying the world around me. I am curious what WB will bring to the nature of the game... fingers crossed that it is all good!

Heya Zarth! Good hearing from you bud. Hope all is going well.

We switched around to afew games since leaving LOTRO but I finally found the MMO for me. Its exactly what I've been looking for in a MMORPG since starting way back when EQ1 was big.

The world is huge and seamless (only loading screen is in dungeons), the pvp is exciting and always different, and the graphics are kick ass (updated toon and gear models coming this year). The best thing about this game for me is the open pvp world (full loot off player corpses) and having a reason to explore the massive world (chests and hidden locations found throughout the world). The company did an amazing job of creating Agon (which I find closely resembles Middle Earth as I pictured it when first starting reading the books). Every part of of the world is hand crafted so no areas are cut/paste, they did an amazing job. I could go on and on about the things I love about this MMO although of course there are some things they could do better just as every other game. No MMO is perfect. Its a very niche game meaning that you will either love or hate it, but myself I just signed up for another year ($10/month) and plan to play this MMO for years to come.

I'm currently about 4-5 months into DARKFALL and don't see an end in sight anytime soon. To be honest I've lost all interest in themepark MMOs so I don't expect the go back to any of the MMOs I bought in the past 2-3 years.

I'll check back here from time to time to see if anyone else is playing it. Hope everyone is doing well!

Long time no see. I do think about everyone often and fondly, though. Not currently playing any games, but I am keeping myself busy between working on the Money Pit^TM and my job. I'm still playing.  Mostly on my Elf LoreMaster, Kemiovel.  Working for ESPN down at Wide World of Sports, that's pretty rad.  Other than that, just missin' the Blades.

I just thought I'd make a post, been a long time since I seen you guys.  I think about you all often.   I've been playing WoW and shooters.  I just heard that the game will be going free to play so I will probably give it a go again when that happens.

No where for people that don't know yet in 2 days my subscription runs out and i will not be in the game world.

to much RL stuff has gotten in the way and well the game has just gone down hill.  they turned it from a great story line game into a grind fest and well that is not something that interests me at all.

Hello all again! I am glad this page is still here as Blades was home and as the original Kin house is sitll in my neighborhood... I drop by it from time to time and remember the fun we all had together.

I am now with Hobbitual.. probably because so many of the Blades I played with are there as well as I just love end game more than any other part of the game. We killed the LT as the first full Kin and second group on the server which was a blast and a lot of hours of work to get there.

I am looking forward to F2P! I hope to see many of our old friends return.. Look me up if you do!!!

I still do our LEveling Kin, Hands of the Crimson Daggers... So if ya need a home till you kind another.. you are all always welcome to hang your hat there.

Not to be a downer but LOTRO turning f2p has turned me off even more from the game. The fact that I refuse to play another Turbine MMO doesnt help either...  Some of my fondest memories in a MMO were with the Blades but unfortionately I regret sticking around and supporting Turbine for as long as I did.
 
We wish you all the best out there! Laurie and I still look back on some of our memories in LOTRO and get a good laugh.

I was worried about the F2P and pay as you go style but with all things I have found purpose in it.  

Loving my time in Hobbitual. Several former Blades that and I have a great time with them adn the new people I have met.  I still run into other Blades that are mostly in Palantiri now and always think back.  I am still in the old Blades hood.  And ride by the old Kin house now belonging to someone else sadly.  Nock, Saine, Myself and a few other are still there.. and it is great o see you  the names pop up as I ride. 

I hope someday you will drop in to say hello ingame Ethain but I understand your desire to move on in MMO's or out of them too.  I have beta keys for Rift to share and Magic The Gathering but I will not download them now... almost did the Rift but it errored and I saw that as a sign to stay away. LOL!

Miss you all, miss the run with you all.. and hope you are all doing well.

Heya folks!  I'm still in-game on Landroval and loving it.  =)

I *still* miss the Blades but Kaerri and I are pretty happy with the Scions of Arda.  I feel blessed that we eventually found another great kin to be a part of. I decided to fill the kin house there with 500 Lothlorien Waybreads tonight and I did it with the Superior Tinker Tools that I gained here.  I still keep and wear the Lothlorien August armor folks made for me when I asked for it and Alli made me a pair of teal Turtle bracelets named "Harry Britches" and "Bilwise" that I still keep around and use when I'm taking on a DPS role (highest solo crit so far, 4,171 morale - I think that's pretty good for a Warden, don't you?  Rawr!)

Here's hoping you're happy too (whomever might stroll by read this).  Blades or no Blades, this is still a terrific website for the knowledge and memories.  The Blades may have ended, but there were many great nights having fun with folks here while things were alive. 

And those alone are the times worth remembering.  =)

Today marked my 1 year with Hobbitual. yeah!!!  I too had fun with scions,  great group.  Hope to see you all one day in our new baby ki. Party house... The Society of Mockers.   Still have Hands of the Crimson Dagger too..... I feel a party for whomever we can find online one day..... would be great ti hear hear and see everyone!

It's still hard for me to let go.  The game is not the same to me, nor as fun.  I keep playing because I think turbine has done a great job creating Tolkien's world, and I was waiting for something like this in a video game since the first time I played Dragon Warrior as a kid. 

It's like a bad break up with the first person you ever really loved.  Hard to forget, and hard to get past sometimes.  Hopefully something will spark in me again.  I used to even love grinding, and now sometimes I go to log in and decide to do something else instead.  For anyone who may happen to pass through this looking up memories, I miss all of you that I haven't seen.  This was my first MMO "family."  This group meant a lot to me.
